Selin Embroidered Velvet Kaftan

Velvet in a deep, unbroken black, with a wide panel of dense floral embroidery — pink, blue, gold and green — running from the neckline to the hem, and matching bands on the wide bell sleeves. The front is closed, with a small stand collar and a V notch, and the cut is a relaxed kaftan rather than a fitted dress. Named Selin, it belongs to the evenings when the room is warm, the light is low, and you want one garment doing all the talking.
