A two-tier overhead khimar cut in a soft knit rather than a flat woven cloth, with a slight give that lets it follow the shoulders instead of standing away from them. A shorter cape layer sits over a longer one, and both hems are finished with a narrow ruffled frill. It falls to the hips at the front and to the knees at the back, and pulls on in one movement with no pins. This is the most considered piece in our prayer range, and thirteen colours mean it can be the everyday one as well.

Styling note
Choose one of the deeper shades — Navy, Coffee, Plum — as your everyday khimar and a lighter one such as Camel or Light Grey for Eid mornings. It sits well over any plain abaya; the ruffle is the only detail, so let it be.
