Baroque Print Shirt Abaya with Tie Belt

A printed shirt abaya with a baroque gold chain-and-floral print that lifts it well out of ordinary territory. It has a proper shirt collar, a button-through front, long sleeves with cuffs and a self-tie belt that pulls the waist in over a full, floor-sweeping skirt. Three colourways, all muted: grey, black and pink. It was designed with autumn in mind and it reads that way, even though the fabric carries through the year.

Styling note

Grey with a charcoal hijab and ankle boots is the version we would wear most weeks. The pink softens the whole thing enough for a weekend visit, and the black will take a heavier coat over the top without a fight. Wear the belt tied at the front for shape, or leave it loose for a straighter line.
